Description

Precision engineered from 2" (52mm) diameter steel tube with a super tough hard chrome 32mm diameter piston rod.

Classic Terrafirma blue and silver styling is retained with machined anodised fittings and a nylon contact pad keeps noise during operation to a minimum.

Mounting Terrafirma hydraulic bumps stops is made possible with specific Terrafirma mounting kits. They can be mounted with any shock absorber option and are adjustable to limit compression movement as required.

Weld on mounting tubes are also available for custom vehicle builders who wish to incorporate Terrafirma hydraulic bumps stops into their chassis design.

The bump stops are adjustable between 150 and 400psi and come factory set at 150psi. The length of travel and specification of the Terrafirma bump stops is ideally suited to popular 4x4 applications.

If you are running an off-road vehicle with uprated suspension dampers then the likelihood is that you would benefit from the addition of hydraulic bump stops. As the main damper nears the end of the suspension travel on full compression, a properly installed hydraulic bump stop will absorb and dissipate the harshness of a damper bottoming out - saving not only damage to the main damper but also reduced fatigue on the actual truck (and passengers). By adjusting the oil level, internal shim stack and nitrogen gas pressure the bump stop can be tuned for different track conditions on both the compression and rebound stroke.

These units are fully rebuildable and tuneable using off the shelf parts that we carry in stock - spare nylon wear pads, schraeder valves, o-rings etc so you can carry out field repairs during a race event.

TF139 or TF139A weld-on mounting cans allow these units to be fitted to an infinite number of vehicles - Land Rover Defender, Toyota Land Cruiser, Suzuki Jimmy, Nissan Patrol, Toyota Hilux, Suzuki Vitara, Jeep Wrangler to name just a few. Fabrication works will be required to create a landing pad on the axle so you will need access to a welder and metal cutting equipment.
